THE GARDENS AND GROUNDS

The large garden around the house, partly enclosed by some remarkable art nouveau railings and gates, has many very large parkland trees including, reputedly, the largest Monkey Puzzle Tree in the Limousin, well kept lawns, many flowering shrubs and flowerbeds. Towards the back, the garden extends into the campsite, which has its own separate entrance.

The kitchen garden, which Andrew lovingly tends organically, supplies us with many vegetables for the house and the campers and from which Bernie makes many preserves, chutneys and jams.
